I had two stents implanted by Dr. Midei on 5/25/07. I received a letter dated 12/16/09 from Dr. Richard Boehler, Chief Medical Officer of St. Joseph Medical Center stating that “a subsequent clinical review of your cardiac catheterization report was different than the original report and may be relevant to your ongoing care and treatment”. This information was sent to my cardiologist. I have an appointment with him on January 14.

I had a stent placement by Dr. Midei on 9/12/03. I have not received a letter from St. Joseph’s but was wondering what the time frame was to receive the stent.

On April 4, 2003, Dr. Medei performed a cardiac cath on me at the request of my Primary Care physician. Dr. Medei informed that the stents that had been placed by Union Memorial Hospital was no good and a triple bypass was done on April 7, 2003. My life has been changed forever.

This is absolutely insane. Dr. Mark Midei did nothing to hurt any of his patients. He cared about them deeply and would never have performed an unneeded surgery. Find something else to put on your pathetic commercials.

I recieved 1 stent by Dr Midei in Sept of 2007, in Sept of 2008 I was still having trouble and had another angioplasty and was told I had two stents form 2007 and needed 5 bypasses? I was only aware of the 1 stent. I went ahead with the bypass surgery in Oct of 2008 and my life has not been the same since. I have been out of work since. I cannot work or perform the way I used to before the procedures. I have not recieved a letter from St. Josephs to date.

Mark Midei acted in the best interest of his patients, based upon his careful diagnosis of each case, with the backing – and blessing – of St. Joes. This hospital built an entire cardiac unit on his good hard work and fine reputation. This is only happening because the hospital doesn’t have the gumption or loyalty to its staff to stand behind them, and would prefer to throw them under the bus thinking it is the best way to save itself.

I have had stents put in by mark midie in 2001 2003 and feb 2007 this man saved my life!!! on 1994 he did the cath and i was send to georgetown because of insurance, even if they said i had a case against him i would never take action. i loved him for many reasons this man took such great care of me and i would bet my life that he did the same for all his patients. i would love to be able to write him and tell him how much he did for me and that i believe in him!!!! no one had a gun to the man head who said he wanted his own surgeon why did he not call him then???? now they are digging up worms on this great man this is why drs have to pay so much for insurance they have ruined a great mans life and that stinks
